Built in the XVII century, this country house sits in the unspoilt Val d´Orcia, Unesco Heritage site half-way from Florence to Rome. Benefiting from lovely views over Pienza town and Tuscany countryside, the villa for rent is a perfect marriage of the ancient decoration details and modern amenities. The property boasts a charming garden with roses, vines, jasmine, lavender and rosemary and plants and several chill-out areas. The house sleeps 15.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There are 6 bedrooms, all fo them are en-suite. The 1st bedroom is around 60 m2. It comprises of a sleeping area and a private library. The room looks over the pool and the Tuscany countryside.The 2nd bedroom enjoys about 50 m2. It benefits from a sitting area with a fireplace. The bathroom has a bathtub. The 3d bedroom is around 25 m2. It enjoys a bathroom with a shower. The 4th bedroom is 70 m2, it has a sitting area that can also be used as a single bedroom great for a child, as it has a sofa/single bed. There are 2 bathrooms. The further 2 bedrooms benefits from direct access to the garden through the French doors. Both have small sitting areas and private bathrooms. Finally, the last bedroom sits by the pool. It enjoys  private chill-out terrace right by.

The common areas include a sleek living room with a sitting area and a fireplace. The room enjoys a billiard corner. The dining room holds several dining areas with chairs and sofas. The property has a cellar with a fine wine selection available upon request (not included in the rate).

The house enjoys wonderful al-fresco areas including a courtyard, a heated swimming pool and a gazebo. The courtyard enjoys several sitting area sheltered with umbrellas. Nestled within a very short drive from a small village with a couple of restaurants and from Pienza declared Unesco Heritage site, this house is right in the middle between Rome and Florence. It sits in Val d´Orcia, an uncontaminated part of Tuscany also declared Unesco World Heritage site. The area benefits from magnificent landscapes and enjoys several natural parks around.
Some other villages beloved by the travellers in Tuscany including Bagno Vignoni with its thermal baths, and San Quirico d´ Orcia are within less than 15 minutes´ drive away.
The charming Siena is about 40 minutes drive away, while Florence can be reached in about 1 h 15 min drive. The famous vineyards of Montalcino and Montepulciano area 25 minutes´ and 20 minutes´ drive away, respectively.

In order to reserve the property you must pay a reservation deposit of 50% of the total payment. One (1) month before arrival shall be paid the balance together with the Security Deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation more than one (1) month before the arrival date: the reservation deposit (50%) is not refundable. Cancellation less than one (1) month before the arrival date, no show or early departure: 100% of the total rental price is not refundable.
